TRIP TO NETAGI SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE INDIAN CULTURAL CENTRE

A project in which we are going for a trip to Netagi Subash Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The trip is going to be conducted because the place showcases india's rich heritage and promote multilayered cultural exchanges between the peolpes of india and Malaysia. The objective of this project are to help our students to understand well about our culture. it is also to provide knowledge about the unique indian arts to our undergraduates students.

KALAICHARAL

It is an indian performing arts charity concert aims to collect funds for the underprivileged of society. This event is a collaborative project between Tamil Language Society of University Malaya and Hindu Society of University Malaya and aims to serve as a platform for both student bodies to give back to society.The objective is to contribute to society by supporting the less fortunate and the bodies that support them and also to promote indian and hindu cultural arts to undergraduates. this project is also to widen the networking between honoured memebers of society with undergraduates and such , providing undergraduates the oppurtunity to shine. other than that, it is also to grant oppurtunities to students to gain experience in organizing events and also to provide an avenue for students to showcase their talents and abilities.

SANTHIPOM KALAIGALAI KARPOM

This forum is conducted mainly to discuss about the Tamil film industry in Malaysia. The guests of honor for this forum are the director and producer of the movie "Jagat" , Mr. Shanjhey Kumar and Mr.Siva Perianan. The objective is to this forum are to provide information about tamil film industry in Malaysia to undergraduates of UM. It is also to discuss on creation and filmmaking of "Jagat" which hotly discussed among Malaysians. other than that, to provide a description and explaination of the ways for the undergraduates engage in tamil film industry in Malaysian.

RUNNING MAN

A project which can produce a balanced generation of phsical, spiritual, intellectual and emotional. It will be conducted in explorace basis which consists of 9 booths which are related to our indian arts and culture such as tie-ing flowers and thoranam, quiz, puzzles, indian traditional dance and etc. The main objective of this project will be to provide knowledge about the unique art and culture heritage of india. Moreover, it also to fostering teamwork and heathy competition among the participants.
